Pearl Barley with Chicken in Zucchini and Tomato Sauce

Serves 1 // 20 minutes.

Ingredients:

  • 150g chicken
  • 50g pearl barley groats
  • 150 g zucchini
  • 300g tomatoes
  • 20g fromage cheese
  • 20 ml olive oil

Directions:

  1. Wash chicken, cut into cubes and marinate with peppers, salt and pepper. Put in the
    fridge for 15 minutes.
  2. In the meantime, boil the porridge.
  3. Fry the chicken in olive oil.
  4. Cut the zucchini into small cubes, and blanch the tomatoes, peel and cut them.
  5. Simmer the vegetables with the oil for about 15 minutes.
  6. Add ready chicken and braise the whole.
  7. Serve with groats.
